Opossum Zine

In a graphic design class, we created experimental zines by thoroughly documenting an object from diverse perspectives. I chose a stuffed opossum since they are one of my favorite animals. I wanted to create illustrations that captured them in a positive light since they get a bad rep.

To achieve this, I used a combination of photography, using both cameras and scanners, to capture different aspects of the opossum. Additionally, I had the opportunity to be creative with the typography, allowing it to complement and reinforce the overall message conveyed to the viewers.

Furthermore, I incorporated a scrapbook approach for some spreads, blending analog techniques with digital elements, adding a touch of uniqueness to the zine.
