929 / MISSISSIPPI MADE

A local coffee shop, 929 Coffee Bar, hosted an event titled “Mississippi Made” which consisted of art, food, and live music that I made an advertising poster for. In the spirit of embracing Mississippi's unique wildlife, I decided to create illustrations featuring the skulls of animals native to the region. These illustrations served as the focal point, while a bright orange and teal color scheme added a captivating contrast and complemented the coffee shop's industrial interior design. I ensured the bold text of 'Mississippi Made' interacted with the illustrations, tying the entire composition together.

This project was featured at Mississippi State University’s 2022 Student Juried Exhibition.
